The day has finally come! After 3 years of no Bieber music but only Bieber tabloid stories. I'm happy to say that Purpose is out right now!
I woke up this morning feeling down about having to go to work but then I remembered that Justin released his highly anticipated album 'Purpose' today. The first thing I did was go straight Spotify and download the album, the second thing I did was plug my phone into my speakers, lye in bed and listen to each track.
The first track is 'Mark my words' which uses JB's voice as the beat and a piano adding a cool echo effect to the song. With his lyrics 'mark my words, that's all I have' it shows that Justin wants to show that he's grown and wants people to believe that he's changed to a better man.
The second track is 'I'll show you' which was produced by Skrillex and Diplo which also has lyrics that make Justin wants to come across as being down to earth and that he's only human with lyrics like'don't forget that i'm human/don't forget that i'm real' .
Although my favourite track on the album is a song called 'The Feeling' which features Halsey. The song itself is beautifully written and the beat is calm with drums and synthesisers. When it goes into the chorus the beat drops into a faster pace which makes it exciting. With lyrics like 'Am I in love with you?, or am I in love with the feeling' which most people can relate to because there's a fine line between love and lust and sometimes it's difficult to know which one we are feeling.
I thought that this album was going to be danced focus with songs like 'Where are u now', 'What do you mean' and 'Sorry' but I think Bieber did a Big Sean by dropping all of his best tracks as singles to hype up the album and then actually have most of his songs as fillers. In a way I'm disappointed in the final product just because most of his songs are slow and sad and the thought that it was produce by Skrillex, Diplo and Blood. It's nowhere near as good as i thought it was going to be.
But in a way I'm happy about this album because it's like a diary every song has a meaning and I love that Justin has showed us a side of him that not many people get to see. Especially the public. I'm happy that Justin has grown into a man that is respectable and he is so talented that no one can deny that. People need to start taking him serious because I genuinely believe that this is only the beginning for the re invention of Justin Bieber and I can't wait to be apart of it. He's made me into a fan for sure.
Purpose is out now! buy it on iTunes or Stream it on Spotify
