I MISS THE OLD KANYE / THE NEVER TWEETS KANYE
This album has been out for over a week, maybe more. I've been trying to figure out how i'm going to review this album or even talk about it.
Kanye West did an AUX listening party and the YEEZY Season 3 Collection at a SOLD OUT Madison Square Garden show. It was live streamed through Tidal where over 20 million people watched it.
It was pretty insane and I tuned in to watch it too.
Then he dropped his album on Tidal and ONLY on Tidal. Incase you live under a rock or just simply don't have a twitter you would know that Kanye West since dropping the album has also been going on a million rants from asking Mark Zuckerberg to invest a million dollars to calming that he's in $53 million debt. With all of this shit going on it has taken away from his actual album 'The Life of Pablo' after changing it's name what felt like a million times he finally decided on this one.
I had to get a free month trial on Tidal so i could listen to the album.
First impression I LOVE IT! it's art; from the wavy beats to the gospel instruments and voices, to me it's his best work yet. He's gone back to his roots.
One of my favourite songs is his skit 'I Love Kanye' it's a skit where he is so self aware and so intelligent to be able to take the piss out of himself but still have that Kanye flare to it. I wish it was longer than 44 seconds though (that's it's only flaw).
But because of all his twitter rants and claiming he will NEVER EVER SEL HIS ALBUM. You shouldn't be bothered if you can or can't get it because at the end of the day Kanye is starting to lose even his most loyal fans with the stunts he's been pulling at the moment.
